This Privacy Policy explains how Fortune Atlas collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users access our web-based TikTok analytics service.
1. Information We Collect
When a user connects a TikTok account, we may receive information made available through the TikTok APIs and the permissions approved by that user. Depending on the approved scopes, this may include basic profile information, account identifiers, public video information, and public video performance metrics.
We also process OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to maintain an authorized connection to TikTok. We may collect ordinary service logs such as timestamps, request status, browser/session information, and operational error information needed to secure and maintain the service.
2. How We Use Information
- To connect and maintain the user's authorized TikTok account.
- To display authorized TikTok profile information and public video analytics inside Fortune Atlas.
- To refresh data requested by the user and maintain dashboard functionality.
- To protect the service, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
3. TikTok Authorization
Fortune Atlas accesses TikTok data only after a TikTok user completes TikTok's authorization process and grants the requested permissions. We do not use TikTok credentials such as a user's TikTok password.
4. Tokens and Security
OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are handled on the server and are not intentionally exposed to other users. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect stored credentials and application data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell TikTok user data. We may use infrastructure and service providers where necessary to operate and secure Fortune Atlas, subject to appropriate access controls. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or a valid legal process.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and operational records, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Authorized TikTok data may be refreshed or deleted as account access changes.
7. Revoking TikTok Access
Users may revoke Fortune Atlas access to their TikTok account through TikTok's account and authorization controls. Once authorization is revoked, Fortune Atlas will no longer be able to retrieve new TikTok data for that authorization.
8. Data Access and Deletion Requests
Users may request access to or deletion of information associated with their Fortune Atlas account by contacting the service operator through the support channel made available within Fortune Atlas. We may need to verify the requester before completing a privacy request.
9. Cookies and Sessions
Fortune Atlas may use session cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, and core website functionality.
10. Children's Privacy
Fortune Atlas is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to use the service or authorize the relevant TikTok integration under applicable law and TikTok's terms.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or our data practices. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.

Fortune Atlas is an independent service and is not TikTok. TikTok's own privacy practices are governed by TikTok's policies.
